Membership

Membership in Hancock County Republican Women is open to any woman who is a registered voter in the state of Mississippi, believes in the principles of the Republican Party, and pays annual dues.

Our objectives are: To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals; to encourage women in the cause of good government through active participation; to work for the election of Republican Party Nominees; to work closely with the elected Hancock County Republican Executive Committee and to promote an informed electorate through political education.

The club provides members with a variety of programs, activities and information.  Speakers and programs allow us to be well informed on issues from the national to the local level; meet candidates; listen and interact with elected officials on the state and local level; attend special events (such as Legislative Day), conferences and conventions from the state, regional or national levels; to coordinate outreach to the community; and socialize with like minded women.  We have luncheon meetings on occasion and often attend lunch at various local restaurants after our meetings.  When possible our meeting speaker goes to lunch with us.
Our members are strong, patriotic Americans and dedicated to the principles of the Republican party.  We welcome husbands (and their male friends) to our meetings and are pleased when they take strong interest in a particular speaker or program.  We also welcome associate members.  Associates include women who belong to another RWC and want to be part of our group as well as women who cannot attend regular meetings but want to be involved as much as they can.  We also welcome men, as associate members.
